2011 SUMMER TRIP - LES DEUX ALPES
This year's infamous OUSSC & CUSSC Summer Trip will take you for a week of sunny glacier skiing in Les Deux Alpes during 10th week of Trinity Term!
Many people are still oblivious to the wealth of Summer Activities that Les Deux Alpes has to offer during the warmer months. Once the snow in the valley has melted we are left with a summer paradise. You'll spend the mornings skiing up on the glacier and the evenings doing some of the activities on offer, like mountain biking, white water rafting or just enjoying the sun by a pool whilst taking in the stunning scenery.
During the mornings we will be offering race training with GlacierSkiCoaching. The coaches, Rod and James are both very experienced and are both examiners for Snowsport Scotland and BASI. To put it simply – they’ll make you ski faster!! In addition, all you freestylers out there will enjoy riding one of the biggest and best maintained park in Europe!
At the moment, we're still in the process of setting up a base package. This is what we have so far:
- 4 Star Accommodation at the Alpina Lodge for £80pp.
- Transportation: EuroStar from London to Grenoble. This journey will take 6h and cost ~£80pp.
- Lift passes cost £140 for 5 days.
- Racers package, which includes daily race training with Rod and James, will cost ~£220pp
All in all, the base package could be as cheap as £300pp, with an additional £220 if you're a racer! NOTE: these prices are preliminary and might have to be increased.
